A recent report from the BBC news website explains how one couple managed to clear debts of over £120,000, including four loans, 13 credit cards, an overdraft and car finance, by utilising loopholes in their credit agreements.

The Consumer Credit Act provides rules that companies must follow when they sell or advertise credit.
